Brass Windowsill Tray With 6 Grow Pods

Set of six bottomless galvanised square pods and slender brass tray with a brushed satin finish. We love these for seedlings and cuttings in the kitchen windowsill. It’s a great candidate for planting up and gifting too.

Planting up is easy – place the pods in the tray, pour a fine potting compost mixture over the top and smooth it over until the pods are full, patting down to firm.

Top up so the soil level rests about 5mm from the top. They’re now ready for receiving your seeds, cuttings or baby plants. The tray serves as a watertight reservoir so the tapered pods can soak up moisture evenly.

We’ve left the brass surface untreated so it can age in a completely natural way in its raw state, achieving truly authentic earthy hues and tones. This ‘living’ finish is impossible to achieve under any other method or surface application.

It also allows for the surface to be restored to a brushed finish if required using a little elbow grease and the scouring pad provided. The ageing process does require some time to develop, so in the first instance it may appear blotchy, but this will only improve with age. Supplied with a lifetime guarantee.
