Brass Tray With 6 Brass Grow Pods

Set of six large tapered square brass bottomless pods and tray with a matt brushed finish. We love these for special cuttings, carefully collected seeds or small plants that need to be nurtured and grown on indoors on a windowsill.

Planting up is easy – place the pods in the tray, pour a fine potting compost mixture over the top and smooth it over until the pods are full, patting down to firm.

Top up so the soil level rests about 5mm from the top. They’re now ready for receiving your seeds, cuttings or baby plants. The tray serves as a watertight reservoir so all six pods can soak up moisture evenly.

We’ve left the brass surface untreated so it can age in a completely natural way in its raw state, achieving truly authentic earthy hues and tones. This ‘living’ finish is impossible to achieve under any other method or surface application.

It also allows for the surface to be restored to a brushed finish if required using a little elbow grease and the scouring pad provided. The ageing process does require some time to develop, so in the first instance it may appear blotchy, but this will only improve with age. Supplied with a lifetime guarantee.
